Sebring is practically in the middle of the state east and west and is only a short trip to all the attractions on the north and south. The attractions in and around Highlands County are unique enough to attract anyone. To the north are Disney World, Sea World, etc. The driving distance to these and many other attractions is only slightly more than an hour. To the south are the Everglades, Lake Okeechobee and Key West. The beaches on both coasts are among the best in the country. The numerous lakes in our part of the state make for outstanding freshwater fishing and boating. Many fishing tournaments are held annually in some of the local lakes. Highlands County is also a golfer’s mecca. There are more than a dozen courses in and around Sebring, offering as much of a challenge as you will receive anywhere.
